Big 2 is a dynamic and engaging poker variant with straightforward rules that facilitate quick learning. Players compete individually, yet collaboration among participants is essential to maximize overall benefits. The shifting dynamics of player relationships add an intriguing layer to gameplay.

The game starts with the player holding the diamond 3, who plays first and must include diamond 3 in their initial move. Subsequent players are required to play higher cards than those currently in play. If a player opts not to play or lacks suitable cards, they may choose to pass, allowing the next player to take their turn. The objective is to be the first player to deplete their hand completely, thus securing victory.

Card rankings in Big 2 are as follows: 2 > A > K > Q > J > 10 > 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3, with suits ranked as Spades > Hearts > Diamonds > Clubs. In cases where card values are equal, the suit is used for comparison.

Types of card combinations in the game include:

 <li>Pair: Two cards of the same rank</li>
 <li>Three: Three cards of the same rank</li>
 <li>Straight: Five sequential cards</li>
 <li>Straight flush: Five sequential cards of the same suit</li>
 <li>Five of the same suit: Not a straight flush (e.g., hearts '278JK')</li>
 <li>Three with a pair: e.g. 99955</li>
 <li>Four with a single: e.g. 4444K</li>
 <li>Dragon: Thirteen sequential cards (A2345678910JQK)</li>
